People for Loksatta, an NRI group, announced launch of their new website www.peopleforloksatta.org at LokSatta party’s office in Hyderabad. LSP president DR. Jayaprakash Narayan formally launched the website in the presence of media and party supporters. NRIs across the world participated in the event through a group conference call. This one stop place for global LokSatta supporters presents the most relevant issues for members, 24/7 updates on the news, events and activities of the group and LokSatta Party. This website will also be used for coordinating and communicating across all chapters and countries.

The dynamic web team comprised of Kapil Bolisetti, Sashi, Raja Pantangi, Pawan Reddy Karakala, Kanth Jonnalagadda who volunteered good two months on design and development of the new site. The website is developed using state of the art open source technologies, facilitates users to publish content and interact with fellow LokSatta supporters. It also features user polls, photo and video galleries.

The NRI group has more than 300 passionate working professionals who coordinate using internet and weekly conference calls to communicate among the groups various chapters and volunteers across United States. The group is actively working to support Citizen Help Centers in India, campaigning for NRI voting rights, creating awareness about the party’s ideologies and engaging the disenchanted NRI community into mainstream political process.
